Hi, my name is Natalya. I'm a transgendered girl from Atlanta. I created PTrans.org, or Parents of Transgendered children for my mother, Rita, to fill a gap in web support groups. She had found that there were forums for transgendered parents, kids who were transgendered, and any other number of combinations, except a group for parents themselves, probably because most parents disown or abandon their transgendered children. However, for supportive parents like my mom, there was, to our knowledge, no group on the internet to meet and talk about the conditions of their children. This site is designed to fill that gap by providing a message board for parents of transgendered children.
It is my hope that people are helped by this website.
